I've been drawn to money and investing for as long as I can remember. It wasn't a career I stumbled into; it was one I headed toward on purpose. I started at Century Bank and Pioneer Mutual Funds, building a foundation that eventually brought me to Martone Financial Group, where I've been putting that background to work for more than 20 years.
Day to day, I'm the person who makes sure things run smoothly for our clients. Handling requests, processing paperwork, reviewing files — the work isn't always visible, but it matters. When clients need something, I want them to feel taken care of quickly and without confusion.
What I enjoy most is the relationship side of this work. I'm not here to push anyone toward a decision or talk over their heads. I'd rather take the time to explain things clearly and let people feel confident about where they stand. The moments that stick with me are the ones where a client's family sees the results of years of patient planning and realizes just how much that discipline added up to. That's what keeps me motivated.
Outside the office, I live in Winchester, Massachusetts, where I grew up and still call home. My wife and I have identical twin boys in eighth grade and a yellow lab who keeps everyone on their toes. When I'm not at a lacrosse field coaching youth players or attending a board meeting for the Winchester Sports Foundation or the Winchester Boys Youth Lacrosse Program, I'm usually playing golf or planning the next trip somewhere new.
